TTPL elaborates several undergraduate courses on the topic of thermodynamics and its practical applications. It supports students by performing laboratory or computational excercises for several processes of interest to the chemical and process engineers. Such examples are distillation, liquid extraction, natural gas processing etc.

TTPL also supports the supervision of several diploma thesis, either experimental or computational ones. Experimental efforts aim at the investigation of novel solvents such as ionic liquids, PVC recycling and supercritical fluid extraction.
